Staffs in a shelter witnessed a miracle after they tried to euthanize one dog who woke up minutes after. There must be someone behind who looked out and beat the odds for a poor pup.
Let’s see into a story of a puppy who later finds forever home after he supposedly was to be put to sleep days ago.
Rudolph, seven-month-old, is a pit bull mix who stayed at a shelter in Oklahoma. While the staffs didn’t find anything wrong about him, they found the shelter had gotten too crowded to accommodate all the animals. He shared quarters with stray dogs and since Rudolph wasn’t able to attract an adopter for how many months, the shelter set to put him down.
It was their last resort. It sure wasn’t the best decision, but staffs needed to do it for other remaining dogs they saw potential to get adoption.
Just about minutes after they euthanized Rudolph, he unbelievably woke up! The shelter volunteers decided then he had to be given another chance to live!
They took him to King’s Harvest Pet Rescue No Kill Shelter, and after others knew of his story, applications went pouring in for the poor pup. His story was a perfect example that we shouldn’t easily give in as bright days will come.
Right now, Rudolph enjoys the comforts of his forever home. The shelter shared that after Rudolph came to them, they began emptying kennels. More people sent in their requests to adopt other dogs as well.
Assistant Director, Rochelle Dougall spoke on behalf of the shelter; she said they are overwhelmed with the popularity they get, and it’s yet the best break for them!
After all, Rudolph was meant for his new owner, and we can’t wait for more updates about how well he’s adjusting into his home!
