You might know Kaitlyn Bristowe from Season 11 and Jason Tartick from Season 14 of The Bachelor. This couple started dating in 2019 and in just a couple of months, they adopted a rescue Golden Retriever from South Korea named Ramen.
Kaitlyn had been following Ramen’s story for a little while at that time. And when he was ready to have a mom, Kaitlyn did not hesitate even for one second that they’re getting him. At the time of Ramen’s arrival, Jason was out on a business trip so Kaitlyn welcomed him first.
When she opened up his crate, Ramen went straight into her arms. His demeanor really surprised Kaitlyn because he was a rescue dog and who knew what he had been through. Some rescue dogs can’t easily adapt and they take time to warm up but Ramen was just so sweet.
When they were finally home, Kaitlyn kept watching the video of him coming out of his crate while Ramen slept peacefully by her side. She was just so happy and emotional to finally have him and see him just so relaxed. And when Jason arrived, the whole family just enjoyed the moments napping together.
After five or six months later, they decided to get him a younger brother. Pinot was from the same rescue as Ramen and Kaitlyn really wanted to adopt him.
What she didn’t know then was that Jason went behind her back and processed Pinot’s papers. When he arrived in December, Jason wanted it to be a surprise. So he told Kaitlyn that they would stop at the park where they would meet one of his buddies and let Ramen play.
But the truth was he was going to introduce Pinot to her at the park. After a few minutes, he came down from the steps with a dog. Kaitlyn thought it was just someone’s dog but when Jason told her it was Pinot, she was in disbelief. She even asked him multiple times if he was lying.
Kaitlyn thought she would be crying when she met Pinot but she just felt so happy to finally get him. He was the perfect Christmas gift. Ramen and Pinot hit it off instantly and they played so well together like actual siblings.
Now, their home is just so full of smiles and fur but they wouldn’t have it any other way. They might have saved these dogs but they were the ones saving the couple every day with their smiles.
