When residents from a South Korean neighborhood looked up, they saw a scene that caused them alarm. There was a dog on the roof of a tall building. The dog remained there for a long time and didn’t go anywhere else. The entire neighborhood was worried that the dog might fall.
There have been several attempts by the locals to approach the dog. None of the attempts were successful because any time anyone would approach, the dog would bark. Those who got near the dog feared that an accident might occur if they tried to get closer.
Stray dogs don’t usually behave that way. Strays usually move from one place to another. However, in that particular neighborhood, there have been reports of stray dogs being stolen. Perhaps the dog on the roof is just avoiding getting caught.
It’s a sad state that the dog’s only safe space is also a very risky place. Rescuers have made an elaborate plan to rescue the dog. It involved constructing safety barriers a few feet below the roof. That way, if the dog falls, he will be safe.
The rescue plan was solid. However, before anyone could put the barriers in place, something unexpected happened. It began to rain, and the roof became slippery. At one point, the dog slipped and almost fell.
The rescuers needed to hurry up before anything worse happened. However, once again, before the rescuers could respond, a tragedy struck. The dog dozed off, and as a result, he fell.
Multiple people saw what happened, and the rescuers rushed to the area where the dog fell. They found that the dog was stuck between another roof and a wall. A vet helped the dog and put him inside a crate.
The dog was rushed to the clinic. After a few medical exams, the veterinarian was relieved because the dog had not suffered any major injuries. After a few days, the dog began to open up and became more comfortable around people.
